You can read our “About” section over at the top there for some basic info, but basically we’re a music blog, trying to tell you all about the best new music. As this is the first post, I have a special treat for you, two songs from our first featured artist!

Does it Offend You, Yeah?

Does it Offend You, Yeah? are a Reading-based foursome who captured our collective attention from the first listen of their amazing single, We Are Rockstars. Their debut album, You Don’t Know What You’re Getting Yourself In For… is out this week and if you order it from their website, you get to download a free live EP. Exciting stuff.

I can’t quite describe or pigeon-hole their sound, but DIOY,Y? are basically a indie-rave kinda band. Expect plenty of synth-y pop songs, with jangly guitar riffs and often some Daft Punk-esque electronic vocals.
